Once Upon a Baby!

I know I have talked a lot about how much Lucy loves her baby dolls and her baby cousins, especially her newest baby cousin, Bess! Lucy's love for all babies, real or play, is absolutley precious! It is hard for me to even describe how much love Lucy has for babies, but I will try!

Once upon a time a baby girl was born! She used to think long and hard about what she would be when she grew big a tall!

A singer she thought!

or possibly a cook!

Maybe I'll ride horses. My options are endless!
However, it was quickly apparent that this special child named Lucy Anne had a strong love for others, with a heart so tender and a smile so sweet! She had a special gift and one she'll always have. She knows how to love and how to treat others!

As she grew bigger so did her love. She had so much love she wanted to give to others! She quickly found out what she wanted to be! For Lucy wanted to take care of all the babies! When a new baby arrived to town Lucy wouldn't delay! A sprinkle of love and a shower of kisses she would bestow with the warmest of wishes!

A heart full of gifts she always kept near. Whether it be a lullably to sing or a gentle calming touch you see!

When the new babies arrived she quickly confirmed a fast beating heart and a vigorous cry!

She then tucked in the babies and said goodnight, all the babies were sleeping all through the house!

Although she loved all the babies she saw, Lucy knew she couldn't possibly keep them all! For her job was done and it was time to say goodbye! She got the babies ready to go bye-bye! She changed their diapers, gave them food, put them down for naps, and showered them with hugs and kisses!But of course she had to keep a few,and she snuggled them each night as she closed her precious little eyes!

The story continues, but we will all have to wait and see what Lucy Anne will grow up to be! Whatever it may be I know Lucy Anne will shower all those still to meet her with lots of love, smiles, hugs and kisses!

For my sweet Lu! I love you with all my heart! I love watching you play and grow everyday! Everyday you teach me and remind me of love, patience, and kindness! You will be a wonderful mother to your very own babies one day! I am so glad you are my baby!

I have had a lovely six days off playing with the girls! Although my time has come to return back to work for a few nights I will remember the fun we had in the sunshine this week! Ella Grace and Lucy LOVE to play outside! Here are a few pics of our fun in the sun on Wednesday!

Summer Fun!

This summer has been lots of fun so far! The girls enjoy playing outside, playing with their cousins, playing dress-up and babies! Here a few pics of our summer fun so far! I enjoy making many more summer memories with them. They are so much fun and are the best two girl buddies a girl can have! I am lucky to be their Mommy!


Ella Grace went to her very first Vacation Bible School! She had lots of fun! Litte Lu wasn't old enough to go, but always sent big sis off with a hug and kiss!

Jay introduced the girls to the SLIPPIN SLIDE! Ella couldn't stand it at first and Lucy had a ball! Lucy especially loved it when Jay would push her down the slide!

After Ella warmed up she was fine and had a ball too! I mean look at her technique! What a pro! She didn't forget to point her toes!!

And then Lucy's form, not much like her sisters now is it? I am not even sure what she is doing!

We put on lipstick all by ourselfs!

And even dress up in anything we can find! Old fabric to Ella can quickly be turned into a fancy dress!

Elizabeth "Bess" Cameron Bailey was born just yesterday and we are so excited she is finally here! Ella Grace and Lucy would play with Kasie's belly when she was pregnant and whisper to the baby, "I hope you are a girl," especially Ella Grace. Ella Grace was so excited when she found out Kasie had a girl. Lucy Anne didn't care either way! She is in love with all babies! Lucy was so excited to see Baby Bess! Before we even left Blythewood on Thursday to make our trip to Charlotte, Lucy was walking around the house saying "Baby Bess, Baby Bess!" Lucy couldn't get enough of Bess when she saw her! She gave her lots of kisses, hugs, and held her close in her arms! Ella Grace loves Baby Bess as well, but we know Ella, always in search of a treasure or new place! Ella was more concerned about purchasing a pink teddy bear for Bess! Here are a few pictures of our first visit with Bess who we love so very much!
